The YMAA training
program,
devised by Dr. Yang, Jwing-Ming, can be divided into three main
sections: External
Styles, Internal
Styles and Qigong.
All YMAA branches or provisional schools must teach material in
at least one of these three categories according to the YMAA training
schedule, and all students must pass the qualification tests in
order
to advance to the next level.
Currently, there are more than 50 YMAA schools around the world
but the YMAA International Headquarters is located
in Boston,
Massachusetts, USA. Dr. Yang teaches
classes in Boston,
and twice every year, from January to February, and from June
to August. YMAA Boston offers seminars which include most of
the subjects of the training program.
International Branch and Provisional YMAA Schools exists in South
Africa, North and South
America, Europe and Middle
East.
